Recruit - The process of sponsoring other consultants into the direct sales company. Recruited consultants are placed in the sponsor's team or downline. May also be used as a noun to refer to a new team member.

Replicated Site - A website provided to consultants by a direct sales company that is identical to every other consultant's site and often to the company's main website as well. There may be some personalization possible, such as the consultant's name and contact information and an "about me" page.

Representative - An independent sales person who markets products for a direct sales company and sponsors other representatives. Other terms for a representative include consultant, associate and distributor.

Residual Income - Residual income in direct sales refers to the income earned as the result of your team members' sales. It is also the passive, recurring income that is earned over and over again as the result of someone signing up for a product or service being provided and billed at regular intervals.
